This is a sculpting class, here students make pottery and learn the proses of working with the clay and how the kiln works. Students learn to use pottery wheels as well as clay presses and other such tools.
Each student gets the clay they need to make some sort of sculpture or pot. Then when they are finished each student's work is cooked and painted.
"I like this class its fun, but it does have its pros and cons." A Ceramics student responded when asked if he liked the class.
